A Snack

With History.

In the early 1960s, Anne Marie Toole ushered in a new holiday tradition in her quest to feed the countless guests she welcomed into her home by putting her unique twist on a snack mix that was all the rage at the time: a combination of cereal, pretzels, and nuts slow-baked in a secret blend of spices.

She called it “Nuts ‘N Bolts,” and for decades, it has fueled happy hours, card games, fishing trips, and every family gathering worth remembering. Her grandson, Connor Toole, was one of the lucky few who was trusted with her secret recipe, and he is honoring her legacy by bringing the same mix to folks across Connecticut—no shortcuts, no corporate gloss, just honest flavor from Mystic.
